So there is a bit of irony in this post as I sit here at 23:51 on a Sunday night but oh well. I’ve always wanted to do a 365 upload thingy but I’ve never ever managed to do it or even manage a month and one of the main reasons is I was never organised. I think as a photographer especially as someone who has another job or other commitments its essential to plan things in advance!

I’ve recently started a new Instagram and I will be looking to post more often, one thing I’ve noticed is people need consistency and as a photographer I want to build up a following.

I’m going to try focusing on posting once a week, I’m not going to make any promises though.

Things in the pipeline

• Trialing Alienskin Exposure X3 – I actually started a trial for this at Christmas but it ran out so I’ve kindly been provided an extension.
• Ordered me a gimbal so will be looking to do BTS videos on my Canon 5d Mark 2
• I’m going to start sharing a studio space with another local photographer and will be talking about different lighting setups.
• Finally I will be sharing my findings with building up a social media following, the good, the bad and the ugly.
• Oh and I plan to setup a Youtube channel! (watch this space)
